We love kids and they are a special part of our Blaine dental practice! We know that starting off with positive experiences with a dentist and the habit of going regularly for preventative care will set your child up for a lifetime of good oral health.

Today was Martin’s first visit with us. He did great! First, our hygienist Stephanie cleaned his teeth and then Dr. Rathjen showed Martin and his brother, Charlie, how to brush. We all enjoyed meeting these two great guys! We even featured them on our Facebook page!

Develop Habits Early For A Lifetime Of Oral Health

Getting into the routine of bringing your children to the dentist from an early age helps them to develop both a positive feeling about going to the dentist and the habit of receiving preventative care.

At Northpointe Dental Care, we recommend that you set up an introductory visit and a tour of the dental office once their first tooth has erupted and coming every six months for a dental cleaning and preventative appointment.

Our childrens’ appointments usually include a routine cleaning, dental exam, any necessary digital images for diagnosis and fluoride treatment. We also recommend dental sealants to protect permanent teeth from decay.
